Coming Soon to our golf academy is the latest in training technology. Hawk’s Point Golf Club and Full Swing Golf are bringing to Hawk’s Point an indoor training facility, the most advanced indoor simulation available.
Full Swing Golf, along with Swing Catalyst, created the most advanced training simulator on the market. Hawk’s Point Golf Club will become the first to offer and operate this latest technology.
Lessons or swing analysis will result in a clear understanding and documentation of launch angle, correlation between the launch monitor and video analysis of the swing, carry, distance, spin rate, smash factor, flight, along with an actual balance plate to reflect weight distribution, and weight shifting patterns – all perfectly synchronized with video images via the Swing Catalyst. Our state-of-the-art system will include flight scope as well as providing exact flight as never seen before.
Along with our indoor state-of-the-art swing simulator, we will offer an indoor lesson area using the JCV Video system. Our new JCV Video camera allows us both indoor and outdoor video documentation clear to the student.
We are also adding to our new facility a complete golf club service center. Any level golfer may now get club bending, custom fitting, repairs, or gripping done promptly.
Hawk’s Point Golf Club’s new training facility will be like none other in the area or nearby surrounding areas. We will soon offer special lesson packages utilizing our state-of-the-art simulator.
Once completed, we welcome our members and non-members, along with all high school and collegiate golf programs to come let us give you a tour of the finest training facility in the area.

Sydnee Michaels wins the Vidalia Championship! 0
Congratulations to Sydnee Michaels!
Winner of the 1st Inaugural Vidalia Championship (an LPGA Futures Tour Official Event)! This was Michaels first win as a professional! She entered the tournament in 13th place on the money list and with this win she moved to 5th place!

Vidalia Championship an LPGA Futures Tour Official Event 0
Women Amateur Golfers, this is your chance to earn a slot into the Vidalia Championship an LPGA Futures Tour Official Event to be held August 26th – 28th, 2011 at Hawk’s Point Golf Club located in Vidalia, Georgia. One spot will be available to the top qualifier for this very special event.
Requirements:
Must have a 5 or less handicap (GHIN) from a minimum yardage of 5900 yards
Must be a residence of the state of Georgia or, attending a University within the state of Georgia
Must be an Amateur
Date: Monday, August 8th, 2011
Time: 9:00 am
Entry fee: $250.00
The top qualifier will be required to pay a $500.00 entry fee to the Tour for the Vidalia Championship. The entry fee for the Vidalia Championship is an additional cost to the $250.00 qualifying entry fee. All entries are to be submitted to Hawk’s Point Golf Club (Attention: Steve Holton) no later than August 1st, 2011.
