With today’s golf players demanding more sophisticated and exciting courses than ever before, great golf courses don’t just happen.  They require many long hours of planning and design.  Don McMillan, with over forty years of golfing experience, brings much valuable insight and knowledge of the game with him to Hawk’s Point Golf Course.  Don has worked with such golfing greats as Tom Fazio, Jack Nicklaus, and Arnold Palmer, just to name a few.  With over one hundred golf course designs to his credit, Don McMillan is known for his exceptional attention to detail.  He works with the belief that working along with the designer or golf professional is a must in order to achieve the results that will satisfy the demands of today’s golfers.  Don McMillan and Golf Professional Steve Holton both had one common goal in designing Hawk’s Point Golf Course: to make it one that requires the golfer to utilize every club in his or her bag.  Don’s expertise has helped to accomplish this goal.  Hawk’s Point is truly a shot-maker’s golf course and is proud to offer golfers a true golfing challenge built by one of golf’s great course shapers.
